The 2027 EE syllabus is the 2026 one with a single spelling corrected, and the 2024 and 2025 syllabi name the same topics, so the recent papers were set on the syllabus you will sit. Even so, no section kept the same marks across the five: Signals and Systems went 9 → 11 → 11 → 9 → 4, Engineering Mathematics 15 → 13 → 13 → 15 → 18. This book counts all five papers, question by question, and shows you the working.

Where the eighty-five technical marks actually land
Five GATE EE papers, 2022 to 2026, were read one question at a time, each question assigned to a section of the 2027 syllabus, and every question’s marks checked against that year’s official answer key. This is what they show, year by year.

Read the year columns as carefully as the mean. Engineering Mathematics, Power Systems and Power Electronics carry the most marks on average, but a mean tells you only how to budget your months; the five columns tell you how far a single paper has strayed from it.
Five papers, five different setters
A different institute every year
GATE EE 2022 was organised by IIT Kharagpur, 2023 by IIT Kanpur, 2024 by IISc Bengaluru, 2025 by IIT Roorkee and 2026 by IIT Guwahati. GATE 2027 is organised by IIT Madras, which set none of the five — so no counted paper shows how the 2027 setter writes one.
The 2027 syllabus changed one spelling
The 2026 and 2027 syllabus PDFs were compared phrase by phrase: nothing was added, removed or reworded. The one change is “Butterwoth” corrected to “Butterworth”, and the 2024 and 2025 syllabi name the same topics too.

What it does not have

- It does not compare the 2022 and 2023 syllabi with 2027. Their official copies could not be obtained, so the book says nothing about them rather than guess.
- It does not know the 2027 paper. Nothing in it is guaranteed to appear.
